Position Summary

The Cook plays an important role in providing nutritious, appetizing meals for our residents while following dietary guidelines and safety standards.

This position supports the dietary team to ensure residents receive high-quality meals in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities (Summary):


* Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements


* Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines


* Assist with meal service and kitchen organization


* Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure resident satisfaction


* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications:


* Previous cooking or food service experience preferred


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices


* Strong teamwork and communication skills


* Reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented
