Events Management, Senior Associate
Join our team as a Senior Events Management Associate, where you'll be the primary contact for planning and executing exceptional events in the Client Center.
You'll ensure a seamless experience for clients by coordinating with event partners and delivering outstanding service throughout the process.
As a Senior Events Management Associate, you will play a crucial role in planning meetings within the Client Center and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
Acting as the single point of contact during the planning process for clients, you will coordinate with event partners to ensure seamless event execution.
The ideal candidate will excel in client interaction, problem-solving, and decision-making, while maintaining a high level of organization and composure under pressure.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee meetings and events, collaborating with catering, audio-visual, and facilities teams to exceed client expectations.
* Provide personalized, high-touch customer service by greeting clients daily and addressing their needs.
* Resolve day-to-day client challenges with effective solutions, maintaining a positive experience.
* Maintain a \"can-do\" attitude, delivering exceptional service and leading by example.
* Assist with staff coverage and support daily projects at the center.
* Participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews; spot-check planning details and provide team feedback.
* Execute pre- and post-conference calls/meetings to ensure all event details are managed effectively.
* Ensure optimal space usage to meet yearly goals and business targets.
* Conduct mid-year and annual staff reviews, identifying training and development needs.
* Drive innovation by presenting ideas to enhance services and improve client satisfaction.
* Cover essential reception desk functions, including answering calls, returning emails, and greeting/escorting clients to meeting rooms.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
* Bachelor degree required
* Five plus years' experience in the Hospitality Industry, 5-Star hotels, Event Planning and Food & Beverage with high touch customer service, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues professionally and warmly
* Ability to effectively manage guest experiences and expectations using a high level of tact and diplomacy
* Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Proven experience in managing and developing a team, including conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs
* Working knowledge of audio-visual systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are essential, and knowledge of the EMS booking system
