Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor (Working Supervisor) – Zionsville Meadows
Zionsville, Indiana

Zionsville Meadows is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor to lead daily environmental services operations while actively supporting the team in housekeeping and laundry functions.

This working supervisor role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments while also assisting with departmental duties to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor ensures services are delivered in accordance with company standards and all applicable state and federal regulations for long-term care communities.

This role plays an important part in maintaining a comfortable, homelike environment while supporting staff performance, training, and quality outcomes.

Skills Needed:

· Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate others to follow proper safety and environmental regulations.

Monitors, teaches, mentors and supervises housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis.

· Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.

· Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide cleaning and laundry services.

· Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

Requirements:

· One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.

· Supervisory or management experience preferred.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
