Sr Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile and skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's systems to ensure all employees have the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively and to safeguard our vital data and information.

This role involves a range of responsibilities, from providing technical and application support to managing IT operations and participating in on-call Support.

Key Responsibilities:


* Provide technical support to all staff, troubleshooting and resolving application, and network issues in a timely manner.


* Offer dedicated application support for key business systems, including troubleshooting user issues and escalating complex problems to senior staff or vendors.


* Install, configure, and maintain applications.


* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within IT systems.


* Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches to ensure optimal operation and protect against potential threats.


* Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical system issues.


* Document IT policies, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.


* Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues that span multiple systems and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:


* Proven experience in an IT support or operations role.


* A solid understanding of basic IT principles and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.


* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges efficiently.


* Proficiency with Windows concepts and troubleshooting.


* Proficiency with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


* Minimum 3+ years of experience working as system engineer


* Having some experience with T-SQL and Powershell is a plus
