Environment Health and Safety Intern

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Internship in our Columbia, MO facility.

This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area.

This will be a full-time position through Summer, with opportunity to extend through the Fall.

No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:


* Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis


* Development of site-specific safety trainings


* Digitization of EHS documents


* Projects around top 5 hazards


* Lead 5s safety initiatives


* Ergonomic assessments


* Behavior-Based safety


* Environmental sustainability champion


* Site Green team champion


* Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals
