Position Details


* Schedule: On-Call, approximately 24 hours per week


* Pay: Starting at $50/hour DOE


* Environment: Supportive leadership, collaborative staff, and room for professional growth

About the Role

As an On-Call RN, you will help oversee day-to-day nursing operations during your shift while ensuring exceptional resident care and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

You'll work closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to maintain clinical excellence, support staff, and foster a calm, respectful care environment.

Key Responsibilities


* Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care


* Provide direct nursing care as needed, including assessments and treatments


* Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges


* Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams on resident care plans


* Ensure accurate documentation and medication administration


* Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards


* Participate in quality assurance, staff development, and facility programs


* Promote a positive, team-focused work environment

Qualifications


* Current, active, and unencumbered California RN license


* CPR certification required


* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


* Knowledge of nursing regulations, best practices, and resident-centered care


* Experience with PCC preferred


* Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented culture
