Job Description:
The HR Compliance Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide HR compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
This role partners closely with HR, Legal, Risk, and other compliance partners to proactively manage compliance risk, support audit readiness, and embed a strong culture of ethical and compliant people practices across the organization.
The HR Compliance Lead monitors evolving labor laws and regulatory developments, translates them into actionable HR policies and controls, and ensures consistent application across regions and business units.
They lead internal compliance reviews and audits, investigate potential non-compliance issues, and drive corrective actions while providing guidance and training to HR teams and people managers.
Acting as a strategic advisor, the role supports HR programs such as employee relations, workforce data governance, background screening, and records management, while collaborating with Legal and other stakeholders on regulatory interpretations and risk mitigation.
The HR Compliance Lead also plays a key role in strengthening governance, improving compliance processes, and enabling scalable, compliant HR operations in a complex and changing regulatory environment.
Job Family Definition:
Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of human resources administration and activities associated with employee information, retrieval capabilities and support.
Processes HR data according to 'the company' policy and legal requirements, consults on HR processes and implementation, and is responsible for end-to-end HR customer support throughout the employee life cycle.
Identifies emerging applications and recommends process improvements and simplification that support business and HR strategy.
Works across the business, functional, and regional areas of 'the company' to recommend IT investments and improvements to HR tools.
