Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness; substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.Job Summary: Highland Behavioral Health partners will jails in the area to provide behavioral health services for inmates within the jail.

The Therapist will provide clinical services for individuals to reduce the impact of their mental health symptoms and/or substance use on their recovery and legal situation.

Are you ready to make a Difference?Job Duties and Responsibilities:


* Assesses immediate needs and assists individuals in identifying appropriate resources for additional assistance for meeting those needs.


* Provide individual counseling as appropriate for individuals' treatment plans and complete all documentation per service guidelines and policy.


* Coordinates appointments with a Highland Rivers MD/NP for evaluation and monitoring of medications.


* Coordinates community follow up contacts for individuals post release.


* Attends staffing/case meetings with team members as required.


* Educates jail staff on programs and services available for individuals.


* Acts as liaison between the jail and Highland Rivers.


* Other duties as assigned.
