Senior Retirement Benefit Manager

Leads the administration and strategic execution of company-sponsored Retirement benefits, and financial wellbeing programs, initiatives for all associate groups.

This role partners with senior leadership to ensure benefit programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals and Total Rewards strategies.

The position requires strong leadership, vendor management, and analytical skills to drive operational excellence and enhance employee experience.

* 5+ years supervisory experience


* 7+ years employee benefit plan administration experience


* Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills


* Strong influence management skills to drive alignment and commitment across all levels of organization


* Excellent leadership skills; proven project management experience and negotiation skills


* Excellent analytical/problem solving skills


* Demonstrated ability to document conclusions and develop recommendations


* Thorough knowledge and understanding of retirement care industry trends/issues


* Advanced Microsoft Office


* Excellent attention to detail, follow-up and follow through skills

* Bachelor's Degree


* 7+ years of experience in retirement and welfare benefit plan management/administration


* Any experience with union represented workforce and labor contracts


* Any Experience interacting with senior leadership



* Partner with VP of Total Rewards, Director Benefits, and Director Benefit Strategy & Analysis to develop and align short- and long-term strategies for retirement benefits and Total Rewards.


* Lead implementation of all new retirement benefit plans for all benefit groups.


* Set and develop budgets for retirement in partnership with Finance.


* Support strategy and project plans to align new lines of business under company retirement plans, enabling optimized company growth.


* Partner with Communications and Benefits teams to develop, implement, and manage plan communications.


* Support and educate on the administration of retirement plans.


* Understand utilization and financial analysis of retirement to address trends.


* Review renewals, and performance guarantee arrangements/results with benefit plan analyst.


* Lead cross-functional coordination with Legal, Finance, and HR teams to maintain plan integrity, mitigate risk, and support audit readiness.


* Partner with Labor Relations to align contract negotiations with retirement benefit strategies and Taft-Hartley pension plan requirements.


* Partner with HR Systems, Payroll, and KTD leadership to ensure accurate design and administration of plans in HRIS and payroll systems.


* Ensure all plans meet federal and other regulatory requirements, including ERISA and IRS regulations.
