Electrical Engineer - Power Engineer

We are looking for an electrical engineer to join our R&D

You will design, develop, and maintain electrical designs with special focus on 3 phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters as assigned.

You will join a dynamic and agile team, where we work passionately with product development and maintenance/sustaining end to end activities.

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $155,000 - $162,000 per year, which
includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities


* Do specification, qualification, including laboratory preparation, testing, troubleshooting, reporting;


* Review and ensure the quality of electrical hardware design;


* Support or build engineering hardware prototypes (electrical design/parts);


* Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and factories assembly engineers to optimize the design for manufacturing, cost, quality, and efficiency;


* Participate in design reviews, ensure Electrical hardware design with standard compliance, and write design specifications;


* Specify and qualify new or alternative electrical components (breakers, fuses, contactors, switches, overvoltage protective devices, power cables, Silicon controlled rectifiers (SCR));


* When assigned, evaluate field failure data, investigate to find root causes and provide effective solutions when related to electrical components;


* Specify and draw power cable and cable harness for UPS or power converters.


* Draw electrical main circuit diagrams;


* Propose and/or contribute to new and innovative ideas to rapidly evolving business development activities;


* Support, advice, train, coach other team members with regard to technical subject matters;


* Perform other related duties as assigned.
