The Opportunity:
* Position: Full-Time (Activity Assistant)
* Location: Lone Tree Post Acute
* Compensation:
+ $22.00 per hour for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
+ $18.00 per hour for Non-Licensed candidates

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Program Execution: Participate in planning and leading individual, small-group, and large-group activities (crafts, hobbies, music, and more).
* Clinical Collaboration: Assist in the development of resident care plans and assessments to ensure activities align with their specific interests and health goals.
* Community Connection: Help develop the monthly activity calendar and maintain accurate attendance records.
* Resident Advocacy: Encourage residents to engage in self-initiated hobbies and provide specialized materials like Braille or audiobooks for those in need.
* Outing Support: Assist in arranging transportation for resident outings, community events, and medical appointments.
* Environment Management: Ensure the Activity Department is clean, organized, and secured.
* Documentation: Assist with quarterly progress notes and assessment documentation as assigned by the Activity Director.
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is highly preferred.
* License: CNA Certification is a plus (and comes with a higher starting rate!).
* Skills: Strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to motivate residents with varying levels of mobility.
