2026 Columbus Metro Software Engineering High School Internship - Emerging Talent Summer Experience

This position is an essential part of the team and will have exposure to several aspects of our Software Engineering Teams.

As a 2026 Emerging Talent Software Engineering Intern in JPMorganChase, You will work with your intern peers to develop innovative solutions to current business problems using the latest technologies while being mentored by Senior Software Engineers.

During the internship you will develop the skills and acumen to take your technology journey in any direction and be able to make contributions to our business units.

The program is designed to provide a fixed-term on the job experience, and you will be expected to be available to work 20 hours part-time starting from early June 2026 and for a period of up to 10 weeks.

Roles exist in several areas of our Consumer and Community Bank and Asset Wealth Management teams.

Job Responsibilities


* Actively participate in agile team activities and scrum ceremonies including design and development leveraging JPMC technology tools for delivery to solve problems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Recent or upcoming High School Graduates with an expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026


* Have completed at least 1 college level course in Java Programming


* Have completed at least 1 college level course in any other programming language


* Must be 18 years of age at the time the internship starts

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Passion for Technology


* Planning to major in a STEM related degree


* Graduating from High School in 2026, with a overall grade of B- or higher, or have an overall 3.0 GPA
