Intern- Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Firmware Engineer Intern to join our Firmware team for Summer 2026.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in firmware development on optical transceivers, work alongside industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our team and company objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


* Develop device drivers for optical transceivers.


* MCU IDE and Eval board will be used.


* Work closely with firmware team and MCU vendors


* A set of peripheral drivers are expected to be developed for the MCU.

Education & Experience


* Education Level Required: Bachelor:


* - Rising Senior (completed 3 years by start)


* Majors: Electrical and Computer Engineering


* Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in: Circuit Analysis, Programming in C/Python is a plus.


* Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.

* Excellent written and verbal communication.


* Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.


* Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.


* Attention to detail and time management.

* Internship Duration: 10 - 14 weeks.

Working Conditions
