Director, Perioperative Services - Anesthesia

Work Schedule:
This position is .4 FTE physician leadership responsibility plus clinical practice time in anesthesia.

Hours will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We are seeking a Medical Director, Perioperative Services -Anesthesia to:


* Lead anesthesia into the future to enhance remarkable care for patients in perioperative services.


* Support the team with a medically directed care model that fosters a collaborative environment while ensuring high quality care to patients.


* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop a best-practice and patient-centered model.


* Oversee business planning and operational activities.


* Along with relevant stakeholders, identify and review marketing trends, clinical best practices, and develop future plans for initiatives for UW Health.

Education:


* M.D.

or D.O Required


* MMM/MHA/MBA or equivalent Preferred

Work Experience:


* Five years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing physician.

Experience leading staff and oversight of multiple clinical functions.

Required


* Administrative experience running a perioperative program in a large academic medical center or large private hospital setting.

Demonstrated experience in Operating Room management.

Certifications:


* Board certified with active medical license Required
