Dietary Aide Part Time

Columbia Place Assisted Living is looking for a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our community.

Our Dietary Aides play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
What You'll Do:


* Set up meal trays and assist with meal service


* Prepare snacks and nourishments


* Operate and monitor the dishwasher (including checking sanitizer levels and water temperatures)


* Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment


* Sweep and mop floors; maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen


* Take out trash and assist with stocking and organizing groceries


* Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and storage areas


* Support the Cook and Dietary Supervisor as needed


* Work cooperatively with team members across departments

What We're Looking For:


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Ability to follow recipes and written instructions


* Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, etc.)


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)


* Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and routine kitchen cleaning tasks.
