Wages: $17.89 - $24.04 base pay with a weekend differential

What You'll Be Doing:


* Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care.


* Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service.


* Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.


* Label new residents' clothing as required.


* Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens according to facility procedures.


* Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms.


* Follow all sanitation and infection control procedures.


* Maintain laundry supply inventory and report low stock.


* Operate laundry equipment safely and report any malfunctions to the Administrator.


* Keep laundry area clean and organized.

What We're Looking For:


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.


* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


* Ability to stand for long periods of time.


* Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds.


* Able to frequently bend, lift, and reach.
