Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

Pay Rate: $18 /hour

What You'll Do


* Deliver individualized, one-to-one behavioral health services to youth and families


* Implement treatment and behavior management plans developed by the Behavior Consultant


* Teach and reinforce safe, socially acceptable replacement behaviors


* Support skill-building in communication, social interaction, and problem-solving


* Provide crisis intervention when necessary to stabilize acute situations


* Complete accurate documentation and participate in supervision and collaboration

What We're Looking For


* 1 year of experience providing mental health support services to youth or young adults is preferred


* Certification: BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician) required (We provide this training if you do not have it!)


* Clearances: PA Child Abuse, Criminal, and federal fingerprint-based background checks; Medicaid/Medicare exclusion verification
