Medication Technician

What You'll Do


* Safely prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications


* Verify resident identity and observe medication ingestion/application


* Accurately record vital signs and report medication reactions or errors promptly


* Maintain clear, timely documentation and medication records


* Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and team members


* Support quality assurance efforts and participate in inspections and audits


* Follow all medication labeling, storage, discontinuation, and disposal procedures


* Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards

What We're Looking For


* Experience as a medication aide in assisted living


* High school diploma or equivalent


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions


* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team


* Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude

Physical & Work Environment


* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally


* Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of office equipment


* Calm, low-to-moderate noise environment
