Job Summary
Reviews cost data, key performance indicators, market indicators, and economic trends.
Provides data to
support pursuit plans and best chances for project win and success.
Designs and develops workflows, process
maps, and other documents to support project pursuits and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Analyzing business intelligence data to inform business and product decisions
2) Blending historical data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources as input to analyses
3) Identifying and analyzing industry/geographic trends and competitor market strategies and monitoring current/potential customer trends
4) Partners with other areas of the business (e.g., Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, etc.) to model the outcome of implementing potential business strategies
5) Uses Power BI to create reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid in business decision-making.
7) Combines these reports with subject-matter expertise to deliver insightful takeaways and advice.
8) Collaborates with project stakeholders to better understand valuable objectives and KPIs and to design relevant reports and dashboards.
9) Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
10) Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
11) Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1) Understanding of and ability to query relational databases
2) May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
3) Typically requires 4+ years of related experience.
4) Requires a bachelor's degree.
Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
