As an Associate in the Data Strategy and Execution team, you will develop complex and efficient data delivery systems, identify and interpret data trends, and deliver critical, time-sensitive modeling and strategic processes.

You will interact frequently with stakeholders and teammates, adhering to data processes, procedures, and documentation standards.

Job Responsibilities:


* Coordinate with data developers to clarify data requirements and desired outcomes.


* Write and execute test cases for new data, communicating findings to stakeholders.


* Perform impact analysis to assess the effects of data source changes.


* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues efficiently.


* Translate stakeholder requirements into effective database designs.


* Address user questions and assist with database publication and availability.


* Summarize findings and implement recommendations for new database functionality.


* Promote a constructive, positive team environment and support common goals.


* Manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.


* Demonstrate strong time management skills, self-motivation, and initiative.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.


* 4 years of experience in Credit Risk Management or Marketing Analytics in the financial industry.


* Extensive hands-on knowledge in SQL, PLSQL, and experience with Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake etc.


* Proficiency in SAS is required.


* Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex business challenges.


* Strong P&L knowledge and understanding of drivers of profitability.


* Proven ability to influence and drive results through effective thought leadership and teamwork.


* Ability to coach and develop peers to deliver results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.


* Preferably credit cards experience.


* Experience coaching and developing peers.


* General knowledge of mortgage banking, mortgage products, servicing, default processes, reporting, and governance controls.
