Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $22.50 - $27.00 per hour.

In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States.

Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What will you do?


* Collaborating with your team on Distributed Compute Systems mechanical design, prototyping, or testing activities


* Participating in brainstorming sessions and presenting your ideas


* Supporting Hardware Center of Excellence with CAD modeling, Tolerance analysis, Test setups, and developing detailing engineering documentation.

In addition the Mechanical team needs support in analyzing AI tools in support of drawing reviews and improved development time.


* Attending intern-exclusive workshops, networking events, and leadership panels


* Receiving mentorship from experienced professionals and your assigned manager

Who will you report to?

You'll report to a Hardware manager and collaborate closely with the Process Automation Hardware Center of Excellence Mechanical team.

You'll also connect with interns across NAM through our intern community and events.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
