AWM Investment Product Operations Business Manager

Morgan's Asset & Wealth Management Operations team as a Business Manager, where you'll drive strategic initiatives, optimize global performance, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

This position will report directly to the Lead Business Manager for Investment Product Operations Business Management with dotted line accountability to the Investment Product Operations leadership team within the AWM Operations organization.

As a member of the Business Management team, you will influence outcomes for Operation, partner to set strategic goals and work to optimize the organization.

Job responsibilities:


* Act as a trusted advisor to the Investment Product Operations leadership team, a diverse group of stakeholders the support several distinct products.


* Support the lead business manager with communicating strategic priorities and tracking progress.


* Prepare and deliver accurate, clear and professional presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


* Partner across the organization to execute on people agenda.


* Serve as a key partner with HR in tracking the status and funding of open headcount and overall staffing needs.


* Act as key liaison with Finance in preparing budgets and forecasts, expense management, headcount reporting, and managing allocations.


* Proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization, organizational & operational design, innovation and thought leadership.


* Coordinate agenda, presentations, and follow-ups for management team meetings, internal forums & town halls, and select client meetings with an eye toward streamlining processes and prepare senior management for internal and external meetings (e.g., prepare presentations, compile data and draft talking points)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related area.


* 5+ years of experience in or related to financial services strategy, business management and/or financial planning.


* Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive and self-motivated and able to navigate initiatives independently from ideation to completion


* Proven experience in influencing and unifying others towards a common goal


* Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint


* Confidence and skill to think strategically, develop solutions, and present recommendations to business leaders


* Demonstrates high degree of organization, experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines


* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau)


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
