As a Director of Agility in Data and Analytics, you own the agility strategy across data platforms, data products, data management and governance, data publishing and processing, applied artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), and experience.
You drive measurable improvements in throughput, quality, predictability, and value realization by orchestrating cross-team delivery and scaling ways of working.
You connect strategy and objectives and key results (OKRs) to backlogs and capacity, ensuring goals are feasible given constraints, technical debt, and data readiness.
You partner across product, engineering, governance, and controls to align roadmaps and remove blockers early.
You foster an inclusive, continuous improvement culture that emphasizes transparency, accountability, and end-to-end value.
You'll energize a portfolio spanning foundational data platforms, domain data products, advanced analytics, and AI services.
You enable integrated demos and coordinated release windows that showcase end-to-end outcomes.
You design change strategies and communities of practice that sustain new behaviors and ways of working.
You shape communications that keep executives and teams aligned on decisions, actions, and timelines.
You balance innovation with stability by managing cumulative change load, environment freezes, and readiness gates.
Job responsibilities
* Establish and coach portfolio-consistent Scrum/Kanban practices, definitions of ready/done, and team operating rhythms.
* Lead portfolio cadence including cross-team sprint planning, mid-sprint syncs, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and integrated end-to-end demos
* Drive empirical process control through transparent backlogs, measurable sprint goals, and continuous improvement.
* Define and maintain a single source of truth for portfolio health (predictability, throughput, flow efficiency, WIP, quality, risk) with dashboards and alerting for variance, bottlenecks, and flow interruptions.
* Facilitate regular delivery health reviews with product and engineering leadership, driving data-informed interventions.
* Build and maintain cross-team dependency maps and a living program board; perform critical-path analysis and negotiate resequencing and capacity shifts to protect milestones; track dependency lead time and mean time to unblock.
