The main objective of the position is to contribute to the successful achievement of the Procurement team.

Alcoa’s Global Shared Services Centre is located in Székesfehérvár, providing Finance, Procurement and People services for Europe, USA, Australia and Canada.

Responsibilities


* Keep contact with contracted suppliers: request for quotations, answer their queries


* Place purchase orders in Oracle EBS system to suppliers, based on approved request


* Follow-up the delivery


* Communicate/contact suppliers via e-mail and phone


* Manage the high volume of procurement needs by supporting the local procurement team


* Maintaining close relationship with internal customers and suppliers

Expectations


* Advanced level of English knowledge – spoken and written


* Required to work in the afternoon shift (13:30 - 22:00)


* French language knowledge is an advantage


* Reliable user level of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel)


* Strong communication skills, exactitude


* Ability to work both alone and in a team


* Attention to detail with the ability to take initiative, set priorities, follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner


* Experience in dealing with external partners, suppliers or customers
