IONM Technologist I / IONM Technologist II

Work Schedule:

Days, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM with Night/Weekend/Holiday on-call rotation, 45-minute call response time.

You may be eligible for up to a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI, with services also provided at various other UW Health locations in Madison.

We are seeking an IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) Technologist I / IONM Technologist II to:


* Be part of a high-level, superior quality, patient care IONM team.


* Perform complex monitoring for both adult and pediatric populations.


* Services include but are not limited to Neurosurgery, Ortho-spine and Vascular.


* Be proficient in all IONM modalities.

Education:

Required Minimum - Graduation from an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program OR Credential in electroencephalography (R.

EEG.T) required.

Preferred - Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program AND 2 years' experience performing IONM procedures

Work Experience:

Required Minimum - 1 year combination of training and experience performing IONM and/or EEG procedures; in lieu of training and experience from educational requirement above qualifies

Preferred - 2 years combination of training and experience performing IONM procedures

Certifications:

Required Minimum - CPR certification

Preferred - CNIM registry from ABRET (the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology)
