Quality Test Technician - 3rd Shift

Schneider Electric is seeking an Quality Test Technician on 3rd shift ( 10 PM to 6:30 AM) to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN.

If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.

What will you do:


* Execute comprehensive quality control operations at various manufacturing stages following established protocols and quality management instructions


* Perform detailed product inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with corporate and customer standards


* Analyze quality data and identify potential production issues before they impact final products


* Implement contingency plans and suggest process improvements based on quality findings


* Document and report inspection results while maintaining accurate quality control records

What will make you successful:


* Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment.


* Proficient in using High Pot test Set, Current Injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, and Corona test Set.


* Validate and correct existing technical documents, including test procedures.


* Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision.


* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics.


* Computer proficient with excellent organizational skills.


* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective collaboration.



* High school diploma or GED required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.



* Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures.

Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.



* Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral), strong organizational abilities, and computer proficiency.

Basic Requirements:


* PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor



* Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift.



* Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.



* Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.
