About the role

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive, flexible, and relationship‑focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our friendly and dynamic HR & Talent team.

Based in Smithfield or Darlinghurst this is a 12-month parental leave contract, supporting recruitment activity across Australia and New Zealand.
 

Ideally you come from either internal or agency background, are hands‑on, highly organised, detail driven, and committed to delivering an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
 

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll manage end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse mix of white‑collar and blue‑collar roles within a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our processes run smoothly, our systems are well‑maintained, and our stakeholders feel supported every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:


* Managing end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and supporting onboarding


* Build and maintain talent pipelines to support upcoming and future hiring needs.


* Prepare engaging job ads and role briefs that reflects business needs and attract the right talent.


* Ensure recruitment administration is accurate, compliant, and up‑to‑date across all stages, including ATS updates.


* Conduct reference checks and manage pre‑engagement compliance (e.g., medicals, background checks).


* Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes, ensuring they are fair, transparent, and efficient.


* Apply WHS and risk‑management principles within recruitment and onboarding activities.
