Production Control Coordinator

The North America team is currently looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our Taylorville, IL facility.

The Production Control Coordinator will ensure efficient workflow and material movement throughout the organization.

This role oversees scheduling, inventory management, and coordination among departments to support production goals and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Your Impact


* Develop and review production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.


* Monitor capacity, lead time, and yield to meet customer volume requirements without exceeding production capabilities.


* Identify and resolve part shortages or issues that may impact production schedules.


* Generate reports to support planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities.


* Track work progress, costs, inventory levels, and production issues, taking corrective action as needed.


* Drive inventory accuracy and actively participate in inventory management efforts.


* Lead corrective actions to achieve inventory goals and ensure adherence to inventory plans.


* Collaborate with purchasing to meet plant schedule requirements.


* Ensure timely delivery of purchased parts and address supplier quality issues.


* Establish and maintain Kanban systems as needed.


* Partner cross-functionally to implement process improvements across the organization.


* Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S standards.

Safety Responsibilities

Employees are responsible for following all safety rules, policies, and procedures, including:


* Reporting unsafe practices or conditions.


* Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).


* Reporting near-misses, incidents, injuries, or property damage.


* Participating in the site Safety and Health Program.

Your Experience and Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED required.


* Bachelor's degree preferred.


* APICS certification preferred.


* 3-5 years of experience in production control.


* Strong computer skills, including SQL, Excel, MRP, and SAP.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


* Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and support continuous improvement.


* Ability to use basic tools such as tape measures, wrenches, and screwdrivers, and read blueprints.


* Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in managing dynamic business needs.


* Ability to communicate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.


* Adaptability to shifting priorities, processes, and technology.

Your Compensation and Benefits


* Expected total compensation for this role will be $41,100 to $82,000 annually depending upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills


* Eligible for annual bonus
