House Person

We're in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, and performing other general cleaning duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional.

This job is part-time with an expected 15-18 hours each week, mornings from 9:30 am to about 3 pm.

Weekend and holiday availability a must.

Hours expected to increase in high season (May-Sept).

We are open year-round.

Responsibilities


* Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms


* Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed


* Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed


* Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive


* Answer general questions from guests regarding hotel services and local places to see


* Assist with helping guests understand door locks, HVAC controls, and other on-site tech


* Extra cleaning, such as deep cleaning, windows, and steam cleaning

Qualifications


* Must have weekend and holiday availability


* Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products


* Must have graduated from high school or received an equivalent certification


* 1+ years as a housekeeper or similar position


* Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills


* Must be able to read, write, and understand English


* Technology-forward, use of apps, phones, and keypads is strong here

Compensation

$18 - $20 hourly
