IT Project Manager

Basic Requirements


* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, project management, or a related field.


* Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multiple IT projects concurrently, with proven success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.

Or


* In lieu of degree, 8 years of experience managing multiple IT projects concurrently, with proven success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.


* Demonstrated experience managing both infrastructure-related projects (e.g., network, server, storage, cloud) and application-related projects (e.g., ERP, CRM, custom software, SaaS implementations).


* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar portfolio management platforms).


* Basic technical understanding of core IT infrastructure and applications, including:
+ Networks (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN)
+ Servers & virtualization (physical/virtual servers, Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V)
+ End-user devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems)
+ Storage & backup solutions
+ Cloud fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
+ Common enterprise applications and integration patterns


* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical teams (infrastructure & application) and business leadership.


* This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S.

person status.

Preferred Qualifications


* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile/Scrum certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster or SAFe).


* Familiarity with IT security standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001) and compliance practices.


* Experience managing large-scale projects or programs involving cloud migrations, cybersecurity enhancements, ERP implementations, or major infrastructure refreshes.


* Previous use of portfolio management tools or PMO experience.


* Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, CompTIA Network /Server , PMI-ACP).


* Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent IT projects.
