What are we looking for?

The Laboratory Administrative Assistant will support the Building & Construction Business by performing sample processing and login, supply ordering, billing, customer service, as well as a full range of administrative duties.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm

What you'll do:


* Perform sample processing and login utilizing a LIMS


* Receive calls from clients and provide customer service and/or routing to the appropriate technical staff


* Greet and assist clients with sample submissions onsite


* Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc.

utilizing Microsoft Office Software.


* Perform various general office duties including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.


* Assisting with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice payments


* May assist with developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/ or work instructions

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:


* High School Diploma/GED


* 2 years+ experience in an Administrative role


* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


* Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills


* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
