What You'll Bring

Required


* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.

Or equivalent experience.


* 0–2 years of EHS experience.


* Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus analytical and organizational abilities.


* Ability to balance multiple tasks, work independently and as a team member, and travel locally up to 60% of the time.


* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred


* Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 or similar.


* Familiarity with EHS compliance programs and/or management systems.


* Strong interest in developing technical and consulting skills.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist with a variety of EHS regulatory compliance and risk management projects.


* Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs.


* Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations.


* Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.


* Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed.


* Conduct environmental fieldwork and audits, including sampling and ecological studies.


* Carry out inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, job safety analyses, and risk assessments based on OSHA requirements.
