Patient Services Coordinator-CHC-Women's Health Clinic

The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System- Community Health Center seeks a Patient Services Coordinator to join their CHC-Women's Health Clinic team.

This position is located in Moreno Valley.

Under minimal supervision, the Patient Services Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Hercare (High-Risk OB) Program ; they will also be responsible for assisting in coordinating the care for patients within and outside of the RUHS system, with special attention to new MFM and new OB referrals, frequently placing calls to and receiving calls from patients, providers, ancillary staff, and outside agencies, inputting referrals, following up on referrals to ensure they are authorized, scheduling/rescheduling patients, performing patient outreach, collecting and organizing data for the providers, assisting/supporting the team by performing others duties as needed within the scope of the classification as required.

Bilingual candidates with the following professional experience are highly desired:


* Experience using EPIC, including strong knowledge of system functionality and workflows


* Background in women's health


* Experience working as a Medical Assistant


* Experience as a Referral Coordinator


* Proficiency using Microsoft Teams


* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Work schedule: 5/40 (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm)
