Lead Electrical Engineer (MV/HV)

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (MV/HV) to support our client's Data Centre project located in Espoo, Finland.

We are hiring on a permanent basis and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities:


* Work closely with the Site Management team from the early project stages, following the Electrical


* Safe Systems of Work under the direction of the Lead Appointed Person


* Ensure all site personnel understand and follow electrical safety procedures


* Issue and control permits for all energised electrical work


* Review project drawings and specifications to understand electrical requirementsFollow strict


* operational procedures and High Voltage safety rules


* Understand basic electrical protection during fault conditions


* Complete safety documentation and manage Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures


* Review switchgear distribution systems and controls before start-up


* Support testing and commissioning contractors, helping to agree commissioning sequences and test plans


* Coordinate with control system providers (SCADA/BMS/EMS) during system handover under permit procedures

Requirements:


* Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or electrical trade background with suitable training and experience


* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar electrical contracting role (commercial, industrial, pharma, or data centre projects)


* Experience working with MV/HV systems


* Authorised Person or Appointed Person experience preferred


* Preferably S1 certification (all voltage levels) or S2 (up to 1000V)


* At least 3 years' experience in electrical testing and verification


* HV switching certification required


* Strong focus on EHS, quality standards, and structured work processes
