Role Summary:

Oracle Order Management (OM) Functional Consultant with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

Key Responsibilities


* Provide functional support for Oracle Order Management (OM), including order entry, pricing, holds, shipping, and invoicing processes.


* Handle Run operations and adhere to the SLA timelines


* Assist in analysing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.


* Perform configurations in Oracle OM such as order types, transaction types, workflows, price lists, modifiers, and shipping setups.


* Troubleshoot issues related to OM transactions and coordinate with technical teams for fixes.


* Support end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) cycle activities.


* Execute test scenarios, prepare test scripts, and support SIT/UAT cycles.


* Work with cross-functional teams such as Inventory, Shipping, AR, and Purchasing to resolve inter-module issues.


* Prepare documentation including functional design documents.


* Provide post-production support and address user queries in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science.


* 3-4 years of experience in Oracle EBS Order Management functional role.


* Basic understanding of the end-to-end O2C business process.


* Hands-on experience with OM setups: Transaction types, workflows, price lists, modifiers, and shipping.


* Ability to analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions.


* Good understanding of related modules-Inventory, Shipping, AR, Purchasing (basic level).


* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


* Ability to work with global teams and support business users.

Soft Skills


* Strong customer focus and stakeholder management.


* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


* Proactive, collaborative, and willing to learn new modules/processes.
