CNA Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide direct daily care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and facility policies, including:


* Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility


* Measuring and recording vital signs and reporting changes in condition


* Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and post-meal care


* Maintaining clean, safe, and organized resident rooms


* Escorting residents during admissions, transfers, and discharges


* Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs


* Documenting care accurately in charts, notes, and flow sheets


* Following all privacy, infection control, and safety procedures


* Reporting incidents, concerns, or equipment issues immediately


* Participating in shift reports and team communication


* Supporting restorative and rehabilitative programs as directed

Qualifications


* Current California CNA certification


* Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented


* Strong communication and documentation skills
