Principal Architect, Anti Money Laundering

The Chase Corporate Technology & Global Financial Crimes Compliance team seeks motivated, experienced architects to lead strategy, modernization, engineering acceleration, and business innovation.

The team provides strategic leadership in Anti Money Laundering (AML) product domains, and engineering practices.

Architects will be responsible for partnering with senior leadership in the business and technology to define and evolve multi-year strategies, incorporating business objectives as well as enterprise technology objectives.

Architect must have strong data transformation and product delivery experience and be capable of producing practical, valuable, and credible guidance/architecture for product teams.

Architects must also be comfortable in managing and reducing complexity in technology portfolios, as Chase's strong history of market success and acquisitions has gathered a wide range of technology solutions, leveraging vendor and proprietary solutions through modern cloud technologies.

As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.

As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.

Job responsibilities


* Design and architect scalable, responsive web and mobile applications using modern technologies and frameworks.


* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


* Ensure all applications adhere to industry-standard security best practices and compliance requirements.


* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.


* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product quality.


* Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs.

Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy


* Participates in architecture governance bodies.

Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies


* Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems


* Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others


* Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
