Technical Antenna (Temporal)
What will you do:
The Technical Antenna is responsible for supporting new product development and sustaining of current products.
Applies technical expertise to define, analyze, validate, and document the manufacturing operating environment, state of technology and current engineering processes.
Serves as "link," between Line of Business and Manufacturing plant.
Will lead and/or assist in the investigation and resolution of performance issues with industrial circuit breakers.
• Contributes to Optimize (Product Evolution Process - PEP
*)
• Leads or contributes to the execution of Change Notices based on agreed timeline
• Analyzes change impact on the end-to-end manufacturing processes
• Proposes improvements to the Board of Change
• Ensures the local Product-Process knowledge, contributes to technical problem solving
• Guarantees Product Performance Compliance & contribute to Product Robustness in the plant
• Works closely with certification engineers to ensure compliancy to product standards (i.e.
UL and CSA).
This includes certification files, audits and/or managing labels.
• Interfaces heavily with Quality Engineers, manufacturing hourly and salaried support personnel, and external corporate engineering.
• Coordinates surveillance tests execution to ensure there is no deviation of the Offer characteristics and reliability, during all the Offer lifecycles.
Reviews Surveillance Test Specifications at least yearly with LOB.
• Manages E-Derogation portfolio to assure Quality Directive guidelines (i.e., Risk assessments, concession agreement under LOB accountability, recovery action plan to back to normal situation, closure of derogations per expiration date).
This job might be for you if:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial).
• 1+ years' experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management.
• Excellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detail.
• Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up, and execution skills.
• Advanced English.
