Your Impact & Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you are essential to restoring pulmonary function and supporting the lives of our most critical patients.



* Clinical Care: Plan and administer medically prescribed respiratory therapy to restore function and alleviate pain.


* Ventilator Management: Expertly operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas apparatus, and aerosol generators.


* Diagnostics: Conduct pulmonary function tests, interpret results, and consult with physicians to determine optimal treatment plans.


* Monitoring: Perform bronchopulmonary drainage, assist with breathing exercises, and monitor vital signs, ABGs, and blood chemistry changes.


* Leadership: Direct treatments performed by aides and technicians while evaluating patient progress and recommending necessary adjustments.

Requirements:



* Licensure: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License - State of California.


* Expertise: Experience with mechanical ventilation and sub-acute care is highly preferred.
