Lead Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable code.
Design and implement scalable, reliable and high performance solutions.
Design and implement scalable micro services architecture solutions.
Follow best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
Offer constructive feedback to team members and assist in improving overall code quality.
Build Ul interfaces and implement front end functionalities.
Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to identify and resolve any bugs, performance issues, or software defects.
Ensure that all code meets quality standards and follows best practices.
Collaborate with cross functional teams and work closely with the development team, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software within agreed timelines.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices and help the team by providing solutions.
Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified through monitoring systems.
Provide prompt and effective solutions to ensure smooth operation of software applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
Conduct interviews to identify new talent and help the team grow.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, .NET Developer, Application Developer, Web, Module Lead, or related occupation.
The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, .NET Developer, Application Developer, Web, Module Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Spring; Hibernate; Java; Javascript; JQuery; React; SQL; Angular; Bootstrap; REST; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; GIT; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; Scrum; developing REST API's using Java Spring boot, Spring and JPA; integrating databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL; deploying Java enterprise applications to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
