Job Description: - Verification & Validation Test Engineer

CTO department - Secure Power Division part of Energy management BU of Schneider Electric, dealing with Critical Power & Cooing Solutions in Data centre, Home / Business Network & catering to enterprise segments.

Verification & Validation Test Engineer would join our R&D department, reporting to the R&D Manager, you will be focusing on understanding & qualifying of Power Management critical software which works with various virtualization environments.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing of software applications, with a proven track record in Agile environments.

The candidate should be passionate about adopting new tools and methodologies and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports for manual and automated testing.

• Perform compatibility and interoperability testing among software and hardware.

• Automate test scenarios using Selenium Web Driver /Playwright, and Robot Framework.

• Conduct API testing using Postman and other tools.

• Participate in scrum meetings, planning sessions, and defect triaging.

• Ensure alignment with business priorities and timely completion of tasks.

• Engage in peer reviews and defect review meetings.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience as a quality analyst and QA lead.

• Proven experience in manual and automation testing of software applications.

• Proficiency in testing protocols (API, SSH, SNMP, telnet).

• Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).

• Knowledge of automation using Selenium/Playwright and Python with Robot Framework.

• Experience with Postman REST API testing.

• Familiarity with tools like HP Quality Center, TestRail, JIRA.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Add-on: Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V) and HCI environments (Nutanix, Dell VxRail, vSAN, Cisco-HyperFlex, HPE-SimpliVity).
