Summary

The Manager, Distribution is responsible for managing all phases of the distribution operation and acts as the liaison between Distribution and Sales to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities



* Oversee all distribution operations including routing, delivery execution, and logistics planning.


* Lead, coach, and develop Distribution Supervisors and distribution associates.


* Establish distribution goals and monitor delivery KPIs and performance metrics.


* Partner with Dispatch to maintain and continuously improve route plans.


* Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EEOC, company policies, and safety standards.


* Manage labor and operating expense budgets; review P&L and implement corrective actions.


* Oversee reporting, audits, and documentation for compliance and performance.


* Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and Fleet teams to ensure efficient, accurate deliveries.


* Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging technology, training, and best practices.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:


* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:


* 2+ years of prior experience in operations, distribution, or supply chain leadership required.


* Experience managing supervisory-level employees preferred.


* Beverage industry or related industry experience strongly preferred.


* DOT knowledge required; CDL preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


* Ability to lift 35-65 pounds and work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
