Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other related engineering discipline.
Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills.
Includes internships, research roles, visiting scholar positions, or other program-related opportunities.
Join HPE's Networking Cloud QA team and play a key role in advancing networking solutions within cloud environments.
In this internship, you will leverage AI-driven tools to automate and monitor sanity tests specifically for networking cloud QA activities, support lab maintenance, and assist engineers in reproducing issues and validating fixes-gaining valuable experience at the intersection of networking and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
* Utilize AI tools to automate and monitor sanity runs for various networking-related cloud QA processes.
* Assist in maintaining networking lab setups, documenting test results, and logging defects in tracking systems.
* Collaborate closely with networking engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
* Contribute to enhancing test automation frameworks focused on networking cloud solutions.
Education
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Knowledge & Skills
* Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
* Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization concepts.
* Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Bash.
* Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn about networking and cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant coursework in networking, operating systems, or cloud technologies.
* Comfortable with Linux command-line basics.
* Passion for enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure.
