What are we looking for?

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Lab Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory while managing a small team to ensure compliance with both Intertek and Client laboratory operating procedures, policies, standards and relevant legislation.

Shift/Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts

What you'll do:


* Supervise the day-to-day operation of site facilities to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards


* Coordinate and supervise preventative maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance schedules and site requirements


* Maintain accurate documentation of processes, maintenance activities, and records


* Conduct testing and reporting in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and relevant manuals


* Supervise, support, and motivate a team of Technicians to achieve day-to-day operational, safety, and quality objectives


* Ensure the laboratory is maintained in accordance with ISO17025 accreditation requirements and applicable standards
