NP/PA – Outpatient Gynecologic Oncology
Work Schedule:
60% FTE, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:45 am - 5:00 pm.
3 days a week.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
* Provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
* Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of oncology patients with acute health issues from cancer and cancer therapies (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy)
* Perform history and physical, pre-operative visits, & post-operative visits.
* Discuss role and side effects of chemotherapy with patients and their family, manage and modify chemotherapy treatment plans, and obtain chemotherapy signing privileges.
* Perform in office biopsies and procedures.
Provide post-op wound care.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients in active treatment or active surveillance setting.
* Effectively communicate with team members, patients, and families.

Education:
Minimum -
* If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
* If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner
*:
* Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
* Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Family; Women's Health.
If Physician Assistant
*:
* Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
* Active PA board certification
