Senior Firmware Engineer - Schneider Electric (Embedded C/C++ | Power Electronics | UPS Systems)

Schneider Electric is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to help build the next generation of 3phase UPS.

If you enjoy solving complex embedded challenges, working close to hardware, and shipping robust production grade firmware, this role is for you.

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $135,000 per year, which
includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within
the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What You'll Work On


* Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ firmware for UPS systems and power electronics


* Support full product lifecycle from concept to release down to end of life


* Contribute across the entire lifecycle: architecture - implementation - validation - release


* Collaborate with teams working on microprocessors, FPGA/SoC, digital control loops, and communication protocols


* Improve system performance, reliability, and code quality through best practices and automation


* Participate in new product innovation and continuous improvement of recently released platforms

Tech You'll Use

* Nice to have: embedded Linux, GIT, Python, VHDL, FPGA development, embedded OT cyber security (e.g.

What We're Looking For


* 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience
