Job Description:

Key responsibilities:


* Responsible for PAM4 SerDes system level signal integrity development

Requirements:


* 10+ years relevant experience with a BSEE or 8+ yrs relevant experience with a MSEE


* Experience with System level design with 56G/112G PAM4 SerDes is required.


* Experience with 224G PAM4 SerDes is desired.


* Proficient with the following CAD tools for PAM4 SerDes channel simulation is required:
+ Ansys HFSS & SiWave, Keysight ADS, Cadence Allegro, MATLAB, IEEE COM


* Proficient with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Source Analyzer.

Good lab debug skills for PAM4 SerDes is required.


* Hands-on experience with PAM4 SerDes channels up to 200G line rates for SerDes coefficient tuning, IEEE TP1A measurements of PAM4 SerDes is required.

PDN analysis at PCB and package level for HBM is desired.


* Strong capabilities to debug and provide solutions for PAM4 SerDes channel performance issues.


* Design implementation for system clocks and solid understanding of PLL design and debug for PAM4 SerDes required.

* Good oral and written communication skills.

Team player able to work with people across geography and in a matrix organization.

Capable of working on several projects simultaneously.


* Good team player able to work with other SI engineers and managers across geography in a matrix organization.

Leverage designs from other SI engineers and share in learning of new designs with SI team.
