Shipping Coordinator

About The Role

Amsted Automotive Group, Cold Form & Finishing, business unit is seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to meet production requirements and oversee the shipping and receiving operations.

This role involves managing a team of shipping coordinators, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products, and maintaining compliance and driving a forklift.

Must have SAP experience and certified to drive a forklift.

What You'll Do


* Prepare and process all outbound shipments, including bills of lading (BOL), packing lists, shipping labels, and commercial invoices.


* Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and LTL/FTL using customer and freight carrier portals. 


* Verify shipment quantities, packaging requirements, and special handling instructions before release.


* Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or transportation issues.
