Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 8AM - 5PM

Wage: $18-$23/hour

We are seeking a Building / Maintenance Assistant to help ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, repairs, and assisting with facility upkeep.

Ideal candidates have basic maintenance skills, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

This position will support building upkeep projects with a strong focus on painting, touch-ups, and cosmetic repairs throughout the community.

Responsibilities:


* Perform interior and exterior painting projects including surface prep, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing.


* Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, filling holes, and repairing minor drywall damage.


* Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.

* Work will also include: plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry and mechanical.


* Replace bulbs, clean windows and assist others in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.


* Service heating and cooling units/systems.


* Coordinate daily maintenance services with your Maintenance Director when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.


* Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.

Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of maintenance supervisory experience.


* At least 1 year of hands-on painting experience, including prep work (patching, sanding, priming, and finishing)?
