What you will do

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing package engineering assignments to support various projects, including New Product Development, Base Business activities, Franchise initiatives, and more.

You will work under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable laws and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:


* Plan and execute packaging engineering assignments to develop and maintain packaging components.


* Support packaging initiatives for all OTC Brands in alignment with long-term organizational goals.


* Develop and direct short-term programs and strategies related to packaging, including package development, labeling processes, and component specifications.


* Create strategies to meet new and evolving global regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.


* Lead the development and assessment of crucial information to support package development and life cycle management initiatives, including design requirements, scope of change, packaging solutions, risk assessments, and test plans.


* Oversee the creation, documentation, and approval of package development documentation, ensuring cross-functional alignment.

This includes documents such as Package Component Specifications and Package Development Assessment and Plan documents.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Packaging, or a related field.


* Experience in package engineering, packaging development, or a similar role.


* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.


* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
